The Lonely Linuxer Log #14 — Confession of an AI-Powered Penguin π§
Hey everyone, it’s your friendly neighborhood Linuxer again.
Okay… I’ve got a confession to make.
Recently, I’ve been getting some help writing my blogs — from AI.
Yup. The “lonely Linuxer” isn’t completely alone anymore. π
Before you imagine some robot typing while I sip coffee, don’t worry — it’s still me behind the keyboard. I just use AI as a writing buddy to turn my scattered ideas into actual words that make sense (most of the time).
Honestly? It’s kinda like using apt install inspiration.
I still control the terminal — I just get a few extra suggestions before I hit Enter.
And oh yeah…
π Big news: I’ve switched to Kubuntu!
Goodbye GNOME, hello KDE.
It feels smooth, beautiful, and way more “me.” I’ve been customizing it nonstop — changing icons, tweaking panels, and pretending I’m hacking NASA every time I open Konsole.
Linux is still my favorite kind of chaos — open, free, and full of personality (just like its users).
So yeah, I might not be that lonely anymore. I’ve got Linux, coffee, and a helpful AI co-pilot. Not a bad combo.
This one is by me in person, really
Before i switched to kubuntu i used pure os but have issues installing steam (lol)
Flatpak issues
I tried to install the newer flatpak through source code and it still didn't work (idk why)
So as a last resort, i install kubuntu
Cheers
Till the next log —
Stay free, stay creative, and remember: even penguins need friends sometimes. π§π»
