The Lonely Linuxer #26 – Rebooting

Hi everyone, I just got back from the mental hospital not long ago after going three days without being able to sleep. It was a difficult experience. I could finally sleep there, but the room was very bare—just a bed and a small window. It wasn't easy, but I made it through. After being discharged, I joined a local game development meetup. Talking with other developers and seeing what they're building gave me a fresh dose of motivation. My next goal is to find work in game development, and I'm planning to start looking for opportunities through IndieDB and other indie game communities. I'm looking forward to getting back to coding, making games, and continuing the projects I've started. I just hope I'll have friendly teammates and colleagues this time around. One step at a time. The system has rebooted. Stay sigma.

The Lonely Linuxer #25 – The Comeback

Hello everyone, After a couple of unexpected system crashes (also known as hospital visits), I'm happy to report that the maintenance is complete and the user is back online. During my downtime, many of my projects were left waiting in the background. Now that I've rebooted, I've been spending time polishing some of my older games, particularly Flappy Commander and Hero Zombotag. A lot of the improvements came from feedback I received on TikTok. Like any good open-source-minded developer, I listened to user reports, fixed bugs, improved gameplay, and pushed a few quality-of-life updates.
