The Lonely Linuxer Log #11 (or maybe #12 ?)

Using windows laptop to create this blog is, okay, i guess?
Anyway the point of me making this log is to promote the gnu philosophy for everyone

GNU or (GNU NOT UNIX) is an operating system that is, supports users freedom
free as in (free speech) not (free beer)

But there is more to that, GNU is also a copyleft license and a philosophy stands in 4 essential freedoms

Freedom #0
The freedom to use the software

I don't think this could means all GNU licensed software have to be gratis (free) but i believe this means that the software has to be available to everyone

Freedom #1
The freedom to study how the software works, also change how it works

This means source code must be accessible for all of the program's users

Freedom #2
The freedom to distribute software

This means all users can distribute the software to help others

Freedom #3
The freedom to distribute modified software

Thos means the users can modify and distribute the software freely

Again, according to the philosophy, developers must share the source code of the software

I also want to share, that Richard Stallman created a music for gnu! Part of the community called it gnusic (instead of music)

Join us now and share the software, you'll be free, hackers you'll be free!~
